ok, it is official, I am at blogger now.  I have two blogs with them.  one is family stuff... no pics and the other is Knitting and other fiber stuff and FULL of pics.  I am sorry if this means you will not be reading my blog anymore but blogger is so much easier to get help in than xanga and so much easier to program.

Just so everone knows I have blocked all emails from Xanga, so don't expect to see me if you message on here (I get viruses EVERY time I login... why, I don't know and the programers wn't fix it!)

Well I had a sonogram and it said that I was a month farther along than we thought!  My NEW due date is May 5, 2008.  Fun stuff! 

Ohter news, I am trying to start a knitting group.  We will see how it goes.

N is 2 years old today!  Such a big girl!  We will opening presents after daddy gets home.

Toured the water birth center and that is where I am going to (want) to give birth.  I still want to do a home birth but the only midwife that will do them has a bad history of not calling 911 regardless what happens, guess I will have to hope that my hubby gets transfered to Germany sometime and get preg there... (Germany has AWESOME Midwiferies and really works at allowing home births). 

The birth center is run by a husband and wife team.  He is the doctor and she is the midwife.  She has three rooms, all with tubs.  She doesn't insist on being in the tub, but recommends it and will allow you to do whatever you want really, so long as you and the baby are safe.  She makes you stay for 4 hours after the birth just to make sure you aren't bleeding out and has lactation consultants on call for after the birth (not that I think I will need one but still nice to have.)  I am really looking forward to this. 

My first appointment is next week and I am not looking forward to that.  They have to do blood work and I HATE HATE HATE blood work.  I don't like blood, I don't like guts, I don't like needles, I don't like IVs... I don't like anything medical really, well only if it breaks the skin...  (might make you wonder why I married someone that wanted to be a doctor... I wonder this too...). 

Nothing really new in my life right now.  I got on Raverly (it is in Beta and there is a waiting list...) and have really started wanting to blog about knitting/crocheting.  I am thinking about doing that here, but really don't know if I should just start another blog for it.  If I start an new blog I know I will forget this one so I am thinking it would be better to just put it here.  I have been pushing back knitting and crocheting new stuff because of all the awesome cool stuff the Ravelry was reputed to have.  I haven't been disappointed either.  We will see....
